Compassionate, Community-Rooted Pediatric Care Across Orange County
Choosing the right pediatrician is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your family. At CHOC Community Pediatrics, we make that choice an easy one: five convenient locations across Orange County, a team deeply committed to your child’s well-being, and the full backing of one of the nation’s leading children’s health systems.
We believe that great healthcare is built on trust, accessibility, and genuine care, and that every child in Orange County deserves exactly that, regardless of where they live or what language they speak.
Care That Meets Your Family Where You Are
Our network of five locations was built to serve the full range of families who call Orange County home. From our primary care clinic in Orange, our health center in Garden Grove and our adolescent medicine clinic in Orange, to our Spanish-speaking Clinica CHOC Para Niños and our community-embedded clinic at the Boys & Girls Club in Santa Ana, we’ve planted roots in the neighborhoods where our patients live.
That intentional presence is more than convenient. It’s a reflection of our belief that every child deserves access to high-quality pediatric care, close to home.
Comprehensive Care, from Birth Through Young Adulthood
As your child’s pediatric home, we provide care that goes well beyond sick visits. From birth through young adulthood, our team handles preventive care, acute illness, chronic condition management, immunizations, developmental and behavioral screenings, sports physicals, adolescent medicine, and care coordination.
We believe that the care of children is not limited to illness care, but the total care of the child in the family and the community. That means nutrition, parenting support, school concerns, adolescent transitions, and the everyday questions that don’t always come with easy answers. We’re here for all of it.
Evidence-Based Medicine, Recognized for Quality
CHOC Community Pediatrics practices evidence-based medicine and is recognized for delivering quality outcomes through the Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPI). We hold ourselves to the highest standards at every visit, and we’re continuously learning and improving to make sure your child receives the best care available.
We also place a strong emphasis on preventive care and education, with regularly scheduled well-child visits that assess your child’s growth, nutrition, and development, alongside age-appropriate guidance and vaccines administered per American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines.
Connected to World-Class Care
As a direct part of Rady Children’s Health Primary Care, our patients have something that most neighborhood practices simply can’t offer: seamless, coordinated access to Rady Children’s Health specialists, expert resources, and the highest quality pediatric services in Orange County — without the friction of a standard referral. When your child needs more, that support is already built in.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help children reach their highest potential by working with parents to promote and maintain their child’s physical and emotional well-being from birth through young adulthood.
To fulfill this mission, we are committed to:
- Improving the lives of the children we serve by providing quality care in a child-centered environment
- Listening to our young patients and their families who we are privileged to serve
- Guiding our patients along a path of optimal health and wellness
- Continually pursuing excellence at all levels through continuing education
Our Philosophy
We believe that preventive care and education are the keys to keeping your children healthy. We hold well-child visits to assess your child’s growth, nutrition, and development, and to offer age-appropriate guidance with every visit.
Vaccines are administered per AAP guidelines, and every appointment — routine or urgent — is delivered with the same standard of compassionate, educational care.
